EASTBOURNE storytellers next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 22, from 7.30pm at The Drive Pub, Victoria Drive.

This month’s theme for the first part of the meeting will be Love Match. Stories of all sorts will take up the second part of the meeting and everyone is welcome, listeners and tellers alike. Free entry.

THE FARMERS market takes place at the Community Wise Centre, Ocklynge Road, on Saturday February 25 from 10am-12.30pm.

All the stallholders will be there with delicious cakes, jams, chutneys, scones, locally produced meat and vegetables and plants, all at reasonable prices. Refreshments are available all morning. Free entry.

The markets will continue through 2012 on the last Saturday of each month.

OCKLYNGE has got talent, the children are busy auditioning for a talent show on Saturday February 25. Money raised from this event is to help buy a new school minibus. They are looking for Britain’s got Talent, related prizes for their raffle and are asking for your help. If you are able to donate a prize please contact the school on 01323 725839 and leave a message for the PTA.

THE LAMB, Church Street is the venue for a quiz night on Thursday March 1 from 7.30pm.
