Down Your Way: Langney and Shinewater - May 16

WE HAVE struck oil here in Shinewater! Or...something else has been going on! Did you see the rig-like structure in Fern Close, just off Sorrel Drive? We think it has something to do with a new build taking place there. e-mail me if you have a better theory!

FRIDAY, May 11, is the deadline for ordering school and Year 11 photos from Bishop Bell. Full payment and proof card must be returned to pupil reception by then.

DANNI Lewis, from Bishop Bell School, recently competed in her first full knockdown tournament in Holland and three wins, one draw and just one loss delivered her third place. There were 350 competitors who took part and she was delighted with her own success and the whole GB team for their efforts.

BINGO is back at Langney Sports, every Sunday from 8pm. Also, don’t forget your Counterfeit Bee Gee has a tribute night on Saturday at 8pm.
