Down Your Way (June 27th): Sovereign Harbour

THE public consultation event on the Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Sovereign Harbour neighbourhood will take place with an exhibition at the Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club on Saturday, June 30, 10am-3pm.

Visitors will have the chance to discuss the proposals with Eastbourne Borough Council (EBC) members and officers, consultants working for Carillion and members of the Sovereign Harbour Residents Association (SHRA) committee.

SHRA chairman, Jan Weeks, said, “This really is the final chance for harbour residents to give their views on the way harbour development should be completed; it’s essential many as possible visit the exhibition and express their views.”

Comments can also be made on the form enclosed with the leaflet delivered to all harbour homes, or by following the link from the home page of the EBC website: www.eastbourne.gov.uk. Consultation closes on July 24.
