Down Your Way (June 27th): Roselands and Seaside

A COFFEE morning will be held at Christ Church, Seaside, this morning (Wednesday) from 9.30am, with a few stalls and small raffle.

Free computer training for senior citizens is also available for anyone wishing to learn the basics. A short service in the Memorial Chapel follows the coffee morning.

ESK Gardening Club meets tomorrow evening at the garden centre in Courtlands Road. The club is free to join and meets every Thursday evening in the summer, usually 5.30pm-8pm, when there are a variety of talks, demonstrations and workshops. Experts are on hand to answer queries. FILM forum next meets in the vestry of Christ Church on Friday, June 29, 7pm, when a full length feature film starring Robin Williams will be shown, followed by a short discussion. THERE is a Royal quiz night in St Augustine’s Hall of Christ Church on Saturday, June 30, starting 7.30pm. There will be rounds about the Queen, plus news events and prominent people throughout Her Majesty’s life and reign.
