FAMILY Roots Eastbourne and District Family History Society holds its next meeting on Thursday, August 2, 7.15pm- 7.30pm at Ocklynge Junior School, Victoria Drive, BN20 8XN. Meet Anthony Adolph who will give a talk entitled ‘Irish Ancestry’. The cost is just £1.50 for visitors. There will also be a library and book stall to help with your own family history research which is freely available. OCKLYNGE Junior School Holiday Club runs sessions in the school holidays. Pop into the Pavilion Playhouse, (via school entrance in Farlaine Road) for details on availability, costs and times available.

CAVENDISH Sports Centre will be running their usual Rascals sessions for children this school holiday. Pop in for more information or to book your child a place.

THE SNUG Cafe is open daily for a quick bite to eat at The Drive, Victoria Drive. Go in and enjoy some hot food at a reasonable price from 7am to 7pm daily.
