Dog walker attacked on Eastbourne beach

A DOG walker was attacked and robbed by three men on the beach on Saturday (August 25).

The victim was walking his dog on the beach next to the Travelodge when he was approached by the trio, between 2.20am and 2.30am.

One of the men struck him, knocking him to the ground, and stole his mobile phone. The group – two white men and one black – then left.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who saw a group of three men walking along the seafront around the time of the robbery.
