A mysterious blue jellyfish has been spotted on Eastbourne beach.

The distinctive sea creature was found by Sarah Harris and her children on Wednesday, May 27, near to Spray Water Sports.

Sarah said: “It was about 2.5ft across - apparently it’s a Barrel Jellyfish. We are not sure if it was alive or dead.”
