‘Dirty air’ from the Continent is set to hit Sussex tomorrow (Thursday May 5), pushing the pollution level from low to moderate.

The Department for Enivornment, Food and Rural Affairs air pollution forecast shows the county affected by the band of air tomorrow and Friday.

This will partially clear on Saturday (May 6), remaining moderate in the east but low in the west.

However, the pollution level will rise to moderate across the whole of Sussex on Sunday with some areas in the north-east slightly worse than others.
