The proceeds from Pevensey’s first Dickensian Evening in December – £472.62 – have been donated to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

Pictured are Shirley MacKinnon, from event organisers Pevensey Villages Partnership (PVP), Lin Clark, founder of PVP, and Christine Clark, community support co-ordinator at the hospice.

Lin Clark said, “I was bowled over by the enthusiasm from the village communities. The evening surpassed all expectations; thanks to all involved.” Pevensey Villages Partnership is currently discussing the possibility of organising a similar Dickens event this year, email: info@pevenseyvillages.org
