THE HISTORY of the Devonshire Park and its buildings will be the subject of the monthly talk to Eastbourne Society members and guests next Tuesday (September 11).
The speaker is local architect Richard Crook, who has made a particular study of the elegant Victorian park.
The subject is timely as Eastbourne Borough Council is considering plans to transform the area.
The talk takes place at St Saviour’s Church Hall, South Street at 7.30pm. Admission is free for Society members, £1 for non-members.
