Fresh plans have been submitted to knock down the former WRVS Centre in Eastbourne and build houses in its place.
Town planners had previously refused permission for the demolition of the community centre and a block of six two bedroom flats to be built on the site.
In addition, a bid last summer to build three four bedroom houses on the site was withdrawn after a backlash from neighbours.
But developers have now submitted another application to build three three bedroom properties on the site.
The application will be considered by the council’s planning officers in the coming weeks.
