Veteran fundraiser Frank Wellbelove along with his friends and neighbours at Deanland Wood Residential Park has made yet another donation to Eastbourne lifeboats.

The latest cheque for £700 was presented to Operations Manager Paul Metcalfe and Coxswain Mark Sawyer at the all-weather lifeboat station recently.

This brings the total raised by the folk at Deanland Park to a staggering £16,312 (including gift aid) since Frank first started organising events and raffles there many years ago.

In addition to the grateful thanks from Eastbourne lifeboats, Frank has also received many awards both locally and from the RNLI for his fundraising and charitable efforts.

In accepting the cheque on behalf of the station, Operations Manager Paul Metcalfe congratulated Frank for his loyalty and commitment to Eastbourne lifeboats.
