Eastbourne cycling campaign group Bespoke has given its thoughts on six new planned cycle routes in the town.
And officers behind the proposals say the results of a public consultation will be published next month.
Public consultation over the routes took place in January and one of the proposed routes would extend along the promenade from the Wish Tower to Fisherman’s Green and see cyclists and pedestrians sharing the middle tier of the promenade.
The Government’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund will finance any cycle path that is chosen as a result of the consultation.
Scarlett McNally, chair of Bespoke said, “What we want is good routes where people can cycle safely.”
The Government’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) will finance any cycle path that is chosen as a result of the consultation.
