Two people have been charged with murder following the death of Chris Poole.
A 15-year-old boy from Eastbourne, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and 19-year-old Shane Noble of no fixed address have both been charged with murder and are due to appear at Eastbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday).
Mr Poole was attacked outside the Premier convenience store in the Hydneye area of Eastbourne shortly before 9pm on Thursday (16 August).
The attack left him seriously ill and he sadly died on Friday from his injuries.
A postmortem on Mr Poole’s body was carried out earlier today (Sunday) and showed that he died as a result of injuries to his head.
Police are still appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
