Police have released CCTV images of two men who robbed a shop in Eastbourne.

The pair entered the One Stop convenience store at Winston Crescent between 7am and 7.15am on November 8.

They threatened a 17-year-old staff member, claiming they had a knife, and snatched £105 from one of the till cash drawers.

They made off on pedal cycles in the direction of the Langney roundabout.

The teenage victim wasn’t hurt, but was left shocked by the incident.

Both suspects are described as white males. One was about 5’10”, slim, wearing a waist length green or brown buttoned up coat, and a black knitted flat cap.

The other suspect was described as stocky and was wearing a black peaked baseball cap with the word ‘Boy’ written across the front.

Detective Constable Paul Gray said, “We are appealing for anyone who may recognise these two men to come forward with information.

“If you were in the area at the time of the robbery and saw anything that can assist with the investigation, please contact us via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 292 of 08/11.

“You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
