Police call for help in search for thieves

Police are seeking the public’s help to trace and recover property stolen in two recent thefts in Seaford.

An Ifor Williams P7E trailer was stolen from Alfriston Court in Chyngton Road. The 7ft x 4ft trailer has cages on the sides, a wooden base, a broken jockey wheel, a missing spare wheel and missing side lights.

When stolen it bore the registration GX04 XZU and is worth about £600.

Meanwhile, a new £500 bicycle was stolen from The Esplanade, despite having been locked to an external gas pipe. The stolen cycle is a silver-framed Voodoo Bantu, size 20, with a bell, pump and gel saddle.

Calls concerning the stolen trailer should quote serial 607 of 25/9, and the stolen bicycle, serial 502 of 25/9.
