Garner, who has used other names including ‘David Bray’, was thought to be living in Crawley 18 months ago, police say.

He was featured as one of the ‘wanted faces’ on BBC One’s Crimewatch last night.

Police have been searching for him since he did not show up at Warwick Crown Court to answer nine charges of fraud by false representation and one charge of theft.

He is accused of obtaining £20,000 across the nine fraud charges.

Members of the public with any information are asked to call police on 101.
