EASTBOURNE is now brimming with budding young animators following a fantastic event at Willingdon Community School.

On Thursday (July 7) the school hosted a creative animation workshop which welcomed students from five different primary schools.

The students, most of whom will be coming to the media and visual arts school in September, learnt animation and music production skills.

Robert King, the director of learning media and visual arts, said, “Willingdon has run a number of these creative workshops using their extensive production facilities since it became a media visual arts school in 2006. People across the community and from all ages have benefited from the schools expertise in promoting creativity through media technologies.”
