A COUPLE have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows.
Don and Pam Withey moved to Eastbourne four years ago to be nearer to their family after living in north London, Birmingham and Cheltenham. The couple, of Beechwood Cresent, have four children, Anne, Claire, Celia and Simon and 10 grandchildren.
Don is a retired lecturer in education and philosophy and Pam is a former teacher.
They celebrated with a mass at Our Lady of Ransom Church and a renewal of their wedding vows. Afterwards they enjoyed a family lunch at the Hydro Hotel.
