Could your cute dog be the face of a charity fundraiser?

Owners of cute dogs are being asked to take part in a competition to help benefit a local children’s hospice.

Staff at Demelza Hospice Care for Children is looking for a pooch to promote their fun dog walk and dog show which is being held on September 29 in Eastbourne. The event is taking place from 11am in Helen Gardens on the seafront and will feature a range of stalls including a chance to get your dog microchipped for free.

The charity now needs a cute canine to publicise the event.

The face of the winning dog will feature on promotional material for the event and they will be invited, along with their owner, to be guests of honour on the day.

If you think that your dog has what it takes to be the star of the show then email a picture of your furry friend to julie.brett@demelza.org.uk.

The closing date for entries is August 16.
