JAPANESE students are being put through their paces at Sussex Downs College.
The group of 25 are from the Kyoto Gauken High School.
The two education partners have been working closely together for more than 10 years. Kyoto Gakuen High School usually send around 25 students per year to study on the Lewes and Eastbourne campuses undertaking a range of programmes including English Language Plus and AS level.
The students return to Japan to take up places in some of the country’s top universities and have a reputation in the college for working hard and for their spectacular traditional dances that they perform at the annual Sussex Downs College International Music Concert.
