LITTLE ones have the chance to meet Santa and get their face painted at a Christmas fair this Saturday (December 10) which is aid of an Eastbourne schoolboy.

The charity fund-raiser will take place at Regency Park Community Hall in Wartling Road, Eastbourne, which is set to be opened by Eastbourne mayor Councillor Carolyn Heaps.

The event, which will be held between 10.30am and 1.30pm, is in aid of Sollomon Andal Children’s Oesteosarcoma cancer trust.

The 12-year-old, pictured, was diagnosed three years ago with osteosarcoma (bone cancer).

He has undergone several operations and his family is hoping to raise enough to send him to America for treatment in the event of a relapse.

The fair will include lots of fun for children with the chance to make Christmas cards, crackers and decorations.

There will be a children’s Christmas themed fancy dress competition with prizes for the best boy and girl.

Carol singers, festive stalls, a raffle and grand auction will also form part of the fun.

The entry fee is £2.50 per adult, which includes a buffet and a glass of mulled wine. Entry for children is free.
