The Friends of Eastbourne Hospital donated £100 for Christmas presents for children visiting A&E over Christmas.

A variety of presents were purchased to cater for the different age groups. Approximately 30 children a day attend the department and that is no different over the Christmas period.

Gary Marshall, paediatric nurse practitioner, said, “We would like to thank the Friends of Eastbourne Hospital for their generosity. The presents went a little way to help make up for a child’s visit to hospital.”
