Artists are throwing their doors open in the run up to December 25 for the Eastbourne Christmas Open Houses 2013.

It is the sixth year artists in the town have opened their doors and studios at Christmas to the general public.

The open house dates are Saturday and Sunday November 30 and December 1 and the following weekend (December 7 and 8).

Artists and producers will be showing a wide selection of paintings, prints, photography, ceramics, quirky artefacts, jewellery, cushions, Christmas cards and decorations and more.

Most venues are open both weekends from mid/late morning to late afternoon but it is best to check details on the artists’ individual entries.

Full-colour Christmas Open Houses brochures are available at Eastbourne Tourist Information Centre in Cornfield Road and at other venues around the town and they provide details of the venues, artists and what to expect from each. The brochure also includes handy maps to guide you along the Open House trail, which includes the town centre, seafront, Old Town, Willingdon, Hampden Park and Polegate.
