SCHOOLCHILDREN from Eastbourne have been learning all about the wonders of their local woodland

Youngsters from the Lindfield School were treated to a trip to Views Woods, near Uckfield, as part of a project bring run by the Woodland Trust.

The idea behind the free funday is to encourage young people to learn more about the sights, sounds and feelings of the woodland and bring out the inner explorer in each of them.
