SHOPPERS will be able to find out more about bladder and bowel problems in the town centre next Tuesday (September 20).
Experts from East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust will be in the Arndale Centre from 9am until 4pm as part of National Continence Awareness Week.
The display will be close to Sainsbury’s within the shopping centre and anyone with any questions about the traditionally taboo subject is encouraged to head down.
Debbie Davis, community continence nurse advisor, said, “Bladder and bowel problems are still a taboo subject that understandably people do not want to discuss.
“Many of us suffer from bladder or bowel related problems at one time or another in our lives.
“For some the problem can affect their quality of life and relationships. It is never too late to get help and problems should not be ignored.”
