Cars broken into in Eastbourne

Police are keen to hear from witnesses after a number of vehicles were believed to have been broken into in Carlisle Road, Eastbourne sometime overnight between Wednesday August 3 and Thursday August 4.

None of the vehicles were damaged but items including iPods, charging cables, DVDs and dashboard cameras were recovered nearby.

A 50-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and bailed until 7 September.
