OBC The Accountants is the first company in East Sussex to be awarded Gold Partner status with online accounting software company Xero.

A New Zealand based company, Xero is fast emerging as the global leader in online accounting software with its cloud based easy to use, secure system.

In order to gain gold status with Xero, companies have to comply with certain criteria in return for training, dedicated support and other benefits.

OBC director Andy Hill said, “We have been working with Xero for some years so we are delighted to have been awarded gold partner status.

“Our clients love the system because it is focussed on making accounts simple and understandable and means we can work with them more effectively and efficiently.”

OBC offers one-to-one training in Xero from client services manager Mark Barraclough.

Mr Barraclough said, “The system is a must for small and medium sized businesses, enabling them to streamline their bookkeeping and accounting function.

“Xero doesn’t stand still and is constantly evolving which makes it an innovative and exciting company to work with.

“I haven’t seen any client move over to Xero who doesn’t really enjoying using the system.”

Based in Upperton Gardens, Eastbourne, OBC is a proactive accountancy and business advisory firm that runs The Profit Team, Sovereign Business Services and The Wealth Improvement Network.

A founder member of the Added Value Network, OBC runs The Business Builder Forum for Entrepreneurs in Eastbourne.
