Aldi has announced that it is recruiting around 80 staff for its new and existing stores across Sussex.
The supermarket giant is looking for assistant store managers, deputy store managers, store assistants and stock assistants for its stores in Bexhill, Hastings, Lewes, and its new store in Eastbourne which is due to open in spring.
It is also recruiting in Crawley and East Grinstead.
Candidates with numerical skills are being targeted for Aldi’s store and stock assistant positions, to carry out responsibilities including till operation, stock management and merchandising.
Aldi is also looking for people with retail or management experience for managerial positions, including assistant store managers and deputy store managers.
Applications and more information on all of Aldi’s store positions can be found on Aldi’s recruitment website: www.aldirecruitment.co.uk.
Graham Hetherington, regional managing director at Aldi, comments: “The popularity of our stores across Sussex has led to an immediate need for a variety of store staff roles – particularly for our new store in Eastbourne which will be opening soon.
“We’re looking to attract applicants from a range of backgrounds and sectors including supermarket, fast-food and clothing chains, with relevant experience in retail, and the skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.”
