A thriving enterprise in the face of stiff competition in Eastbourne

Established by Billy Obeney and Amber Carry in 2012, Freckled Frog Foods has grown from very humble beginnings to become a successful, fully-fledged market stall that has been a regular feature of Eastbourne Market since its inception.

The market is a thriving enterprise in spite of a great deal of local competition with businesses dedicated to providing a range of products at very competitive prices.

Freckled Frog Foods is no exception.

To complement the free-range chicken, duck and quail eggs, there is a wonderful variety of popular and more unusual preserves, chutneys and sauces that are all farm-produced and whose ingredients are either sourced locally or in the United Kingdom.

More recently, Billy and Amber have introduced a fantastic assortment of curry sauces to go with their Naan Bread and Onion Bhajees, providing their customers with a delicious and affordable option to the Saturday night takeaway.

For those who prefer a Mediterranean diet, there is also a selection of choice dressings and fresh, marinaded olives.

Freckled Frog Foods is a work in progress, with a dynamic and innovative duo at the helm, whose long-term vision is to become a retail outlet to rival any high street delicatessen.

You can visit Freckled Frog Foods every Wednesday and Sunday at The Eastbourne Borough Market in Terminus Road
