Identity Signage and Displays is working with the organisers of Let's Do Business, Eastbourne 2009, to supply exhibitors with their display systems and promotional products at a discounted price.

Head designer Michael Tyrrell said "We have over 20 years' experience and it's great to able to pass on this knowledge and to boost local economy".

Identity is very keen to promote local procurement, particularly during these difficult times. It's important that companies from Eastbourne and the surrounding areas make the most of the assets they have nearby. There are many factors above unit cost that makes local procurement advantageous. When buying nearby you can benefit from showroom visits, free delivery, product support and friendly hands-on advice; sometimes missed by large corporations.

Identity's main corporate social responsibility aim for 2009 is to increase local procurement and create awareness of the advantages of local business-to-business in the community.

Even though times are hard, Identity Live Communication, specialising in exhibitions and conferences, is going from strength to strength. It has taken on a new employee each month since January 2009, and driving this growth forward is Michael Gietzen. He joined at the start of 2009 as Marketing Director. Michael is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and recently graduated with a BSc Hons in Applied Accountancy. He has a business and accountancy background and has brought new and exciting challenges to the team. During this short, yet exciting period, Identity has seen a 200 per cent increase in sales.

Michael said "Identity Live Communication's sister company, Identity Signage and Displays, does not wish to just offer graphics and printing services, but also wants to encourage clients to take advantage of our experienced personnel, our ever-growing knowledge base and product expertise.

"We offer a free consultation on how to use your signage and printing to the best of your ability, with tips on how to improve your return on investment."

Identity would also like to welcome newest employee Paul Fitzpatrick as practice manager. He recently graduated from Sussex University with a masters in innovation management and his role is to ensure that during the company's growth it continues producing quality products and services and ensuring clients benefit from the service they count on as well as making sure their business remains competitive.

Wendy Oliver joined in March to take control of Identity's accounts department and has become an asset to the team.

Building work at Identity's Westham office is now complete and visits are welcome from anyone wanting to find out more about its services.
