Litigation load lightens

LAW FIRM Mayo Wynne Baxter, which has offices in Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Lewes and Brighton, has announced an expansion to its litigation team; appointing two new solicitors, Rebecca Pitt and Duncan Wilks.

Rebecca Pitt trained at a local firm where she built up extensive experience in commercial litigation. She's worked on a variety of cases including property disputes, building contract disputes and advising on the rights of light. Rebecca is also fluent in French, Spanish and German.

Duncan Wilks comes from a specialist commercial practice in London where he acted for both claimants and defendants. His cases involved breaches of contract, misrepresentation and commercial duress as well as landlord and tenant disputes and insolvency work.

Head of litigation Lee Hills said "It's a positive sign of growth when we take on two new solicitors. We already have one of the best litigation teams in the south east but Rebecca and Duncan can only strengthen our position. Both are young, dynamic and hardworking and I think they will make a fantastic contribution."
