Four new faces offer real Lifeline

WEALDEN AND Eastbourne Lifeline (WEL) welcomed four new faces to its contact centre this week.

Linda Griffiths, Anne Dickinson, Caroline Watkins and Gary Dimmock are now being put through their paces as part of a rigorous training programme before they begin handling some of the many thousands of calls WEL receives and makes each week.

WEL has more than 15,000 subscribers to its telecare and telehealth services, allowing each customer to lead independent lives in their own homes.

WEL managing director, Mark Bannister, said, "To maintain our rate of growth we need the best possible people within the organisation supporting it,

providing the highest standards of service to every single customer. We employ more than 50 staff across a range of roles and I have no doubt that these four new colleagues will complement the existing team superbly."
