Fantastic event for the town’s job-hunters

JOB-hunters can advantage of a great new recruitment event this month.

Eastbourne’s Big Week of Work takes place this autumn from September 24 to 28 at the Town Hall in Grove Road and will give local employers the chance to meet the town’s job-seekers.

On September 24 and 25 there will be employability master classes, a health and social care employers jobs fair on September 26, a employer job fair on September 27 and enterprise and self-employment opportunities on the final day.

Juliet Smith, from Eastbourne Works, said, “Our aim is to introduce and match employers with potential staff who are both focused and keen to work in their sector.

“To support the recruitment and selection process we will be running employability master classes for job seekers with the ultimate goal of getting Eastbourne working; connecting local people with local employers.”

The service and support is free to both employers and job seekers. For more information or to take part visit Big Week of Work call 01273 402339. Details can also be found at www.sussexdowns.ac.uk.
