A BROTHER and sister will walk 14 miles this weekend in memory of their dad who died from cancer.

Young Eloise Mitchell, 11, and her eight-year-old brother Joseph Sime, will take part in Sunday’s sponsored walk in a bid to raise money for the hospital which helped treat their dad, David Mitchell.

Mr Mitchell tragically passed away two years ago after battling with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and this will be the second time Eloise and Joseph have pounded the streets to raise money in his memory.

The pair completed the same sponsored stroll last year but, inspired by the help their dad received at the Royal Marsden Hospital in West London, the youngsters are at it again.

Eloise said, “We want to raise money for cancer and help in any way we can. “My dad was treated at The Royal Marsden. We really enjoyed last year’s walk and hope to raise lots more money this year.”

The pair came up with the idea and mum Kelly Sime said, “We are all really proud of them.”
