A 43-year-old woman collapsed and died during a netball match at an Eastbourne sports centre last night (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to Hampden Park Sports Centre in Brodrick Road where the netball match was being played.
Police, ambulance and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance attended but were unable to save the woman.
Police say there there were no suspicious circumstances. The coroner for East Sussex has been informed.
