Residents in the Roselands area of Eastbourne are reporting problems with their water this morning (Tuesday).
The Herald is trying to contact South East Water for the scale of the problem but several residents have taken to social media to report they either have no water or it is just a slow trickle.
One reader in Southbourne Road said workmen have been outside his property throughout the night pumping water and carrying out repairs.
It is thought to be connected with the problems in Hailsham at the weekend when a main cast iron water main burst on Sunday morning leaving thousands of properties in the town, Polegate, Pevensey, Sovereign Harbour and parts of Eastbourne without water.
The vast majority of homes and businesses saw their water supplies restored by early evening yesterday (Monday).
