Firefighters have spent the night tackling a huge blaze at a Hailsham business.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service remain on the scene of the fire at PJ Skips waste facility on the A22 northbound near Hailsham.
Crews were mobilised to reports of the fire at 8.19pm last night (Monday).
Eight appliances from Hailsham, Herstmonceux, Eastbourne, Pevensey, Heathfield, Uckfield and Mayfield, two water bowsers from Uckfield and Burgess Hill and one aerial ladder platform from Hastings were initially sent to the incident.
The fire service is asking people to avoid the area, where the road remains closed, and to keep windows and doors shut due to smoke.
