Bede’s pupils took over the coffee shop at the Arlington Bluebell Walk last week, to raise funds for the Sussex charity the ABC Fund.

They baked cakes and sold them alongside tea and coffee at the café, the pupils were delighted to raise over £200 for the charity, which was founded to help support disadvantaged children and families.

Bede’s tutor Mrs Katy O’Hara said , “The amazing discipline and enthusiasm of the boys, in combination with the overwhelming support and guidance of the Bluebell team, allowed for a fun and educational experience, giving the students a serious responsibility. It put their critical thinking and team spirit to the test, granting them an opportunity to truly prove their professional mettle.”
