THE HELLINGLY Festival of Transport is taking place this Bank Holiday weekend (August 25-27).
Based at Broad Farm, the event is run by the Eastbourne Historic Vehicle Club Ltd, and is open from 10am-6pm.
All sorts of vehicles will be on display, as well as general stands, a beer tent and food.
And Herstmonceux Castle will be stepping back in time this weekend (August 25-27) with its annual Medieval Festival.
The Medieval Siege Society will be taking part in two daily sieges (11am and 3pm) around the walls of the 15th century moated castle.
There will also be displays by bowmen, a medieval market and plenty of medieval entertainment and refreshments.
The gates open at 10am, the grand parade takes place at 10.45am and the fun finishes at 6pm each day.
Tickets cost £19 for adults and £10 for children.
Eastbourne RNLI is also hosting a regatta this weekend (August 25-27).
There will be attractions including a beer festival, funfair, live music and a food and crafts market – as well as plenty of fun on the water, with racing in the bay, the chance to have a go on dinghies and kayaks.
Stalls and attractions open at 10am.
