Another UKIP victory - for Ouse Valley East ward

The UK Independence Party has enjoyed success for the third time this morning (Friday) in the East Sussex County Council elections after winning the seat in the Ouse Valley East ward.

Peter Charlton picked up 31.6 per cent of the vote with 934 votes for UKIP, with Robbie Robertson, who was standing as the Conservative candidate, coming in second with 663 votes.

UKIP has also captured seats in the Seaford Sutton ward and Pevensey and Westham ward.
