Anderida Writers' Circle - news of open evening
THE CIRCLE holds an open evening on Tuesday, July 14 at 7.30pm (non-members 8pm) at the Langham Hotel.
This is a special event – the members' short story competition on the theme of 'The Beach Hut'.
The entries will be read by well-known actor Jeffrey Holland, best remembered for his part as lovable Spike in the iconic comedy series, Hi-de-Hi. He has also appeared in Crossroads, Dixon of Dock Green, Dad's Army, You Rang, M'Lord? and Oh, Dr Beeching.
Anyone interested in creative writing is welcome; there will be a small entry fee of 2 for non-members.
Anderida Writers is a group of local authors who share an interest in all forms of creative writing. Our active membership includes published and aspiring writers, as well as absolute beginners. We meet in Eastbourne once a month for workshops, talks and other activities.
Our aim is to stimulate interest in creative writing and help members develop their craft through constructive criticism and encouragement.
