Eastbourne and District Samaritans are organising an evening of seasonal entertainment at All Saint’s Chapel in Darley Road, Eastbourne, on Wednesday 7th December at 7pm. All proceeds from this event will be going to the Eastbourne and District Samaritans.
The evening, which is being attended by the mayor, will include singing by Panache Ladies Barbershop Quartet, music from Red Box Jazz Band, a performed excerpt from Shirley Valentine, some Joyce Grenfell sketches and readings from A Christmas Carol.
A raffle will be held on the evening with prizes donated by local retailers and restaurants, as well as two fantastic auction prizes which include tea for two and a tour of the House of Commons (kindly donated by Stephen Lloyd), and a private flight for three people over Sussex, taking off from Biggin Hill.
