Staff from the ambulance service have been thanked for their hard work and long service at an awards ceremony.
South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS staff were joined by volunteers, members of the public and emergency service colleagues at the first of the Trust’s annual awards ceremonies.
The ceremony, for the east of SECAmb’s region, which was held on February 26 in Maidstone, Kent.
Two Eastbourne people took home awards. Steve Burdon scooped a medal for 20 years’ NHS service and volunteer car driver David Tattum picked up an award for ten years’ long service.
