Alfriston, Hellingly and East Hoathly is declared Conservative

Alfriston, Hellingly and East Hoathly ward has been declared Conservative in the East Sussex County Council elections.

Tory candidate Nick Bennett took 38.8 per cent with 1,272 votes. He was closely followed by UKIP candidate Dan Docker with 1,131 votes - 34 per cent.

Lib Dem candidate Andy Watkins had 16.8 per cent with 552 votes and Tom Serpell, Labour candidate, got 327 votes - 10 per cent.
