The air ambulance has landed in Eastbourne tonight (Wednesday, August 5) after a woman suffered a head injury in the town centre.

Passers-by called the emergency services after the woman fell down outside CEX in Terminus Road, opposite McDonalds.

Ambulances are currently at the scene with the helicopter paramedics and police officers.

She is being tended to in one of the bus stops and the pavement has been cordoned off between C&H and CEX.
