A feast of firework fun lined up

VENUES in and around Eastbourne are set to put on spectacular firework displays.

Among them is Saffrons sports ground whose annual event has proved increasingly popular.

The date to save is Thursday November 3 and gates open at 6pm, with a display at 7.30pm.

Hot food and children’s rides all form part of the fun.

Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for children under 10 and £14 for a family ticket of two adults and two children.

The following night Tollgate School is putting on live music and refreshments alongside its firework display.

Gates open at 6.30pm and the fireworks can be seen half an hour later.

Tickets in advance cost £4.50 for adults, £2.50 for children and a family ticket is £10. On the door the cost is an extra 50p per or £12 for a family ticket. A disco will also form part of the evening’s fun.

St Thomas a Becket Catholic School in Tutts Barn Lane will be hosting its display on Friday, November 4. Gates open at 6.30pm with the fireworks starting at 7.30pm. There will be live music from the band Stray Dogs.

Tickets are £4.50 each, £16 for a family ticket of four and £20 for a family ticket of five. Pre-schoolers go free.
