A WOMAN jumped to her death from Beachy Head at the weekend.
Police were called to the beauty spot shortly after 3pm on Saturday after passers-by said they had seen the woman jump.
Police officers and the coastguard rushed to the scene and a body was recovered from the foot of cliffs.
She was identified on Monday as 46-year-old Julie White, from Shrewburyness, Essex.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact them on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1239 of May 10.
