AN EASTBOURNE dental nurse found dead in Argentina was a drugs mule, according to the Argentine security and justice minister.

Laura Hill was found dead in October last year but a question mark hangs over the circumstances of her death due to misinformation and a breakdown in communication between the Argentinean authorities, the Foreign Office and her family.
Parents of the 25-year-old, Alison and Kevin Hill, first believed their daughter died of natural causes and was found on a bench in Buenos Aires.
However, investigations revealed her body was discovered in the hallway of an apartment block with multiple bruises and a lethal dose of cocaine.
It is also feared she may have been sexually assaulted and her devastated parents are now trying to uncover the truth.
Last week the Argentinean press reported that Anibal Fernandez, the country's security and justice minister, said she 'intended to bring drugs inside her body into Europe' and she was 'part of a network of drug trafficking'.
Mrs Hill said she would rather not comment on the allegations at this time because she was waiting for more information and paperwork from the Argentinean authorities.
"I am not prepared to comment until we have more accurate information," she said.
"It seems very strange this information did not come out in the beginning.
"There are still lots of unanswered questions and nothing seems to add up properly."
Eastbourne MP Nigel Waterson has thrown his support behind the family and he raised the matter in the House of Commons in July.
