RATTON School PE department scooped a £500 handout from the Nat West Bank community cash award.
The money was handed over by Jackie Bignell, manager of the NatWest branch in Heathfield, and Gaynor Harffey, customer service officer at the Eastbourne branch.
Both have children at Ratton who are actively involved in sports activities.
The money will go towards enhancing the PE provision at the school.
